Waste Management Committee
The Waste Management Committee is constituted to create consciousness about waste management and reduce waste generation. The composition and objectives of Waste Management Committee is as follows:

Objectives
The Waste Management Committee of the institute will serve the following objectives:
- To create consciousness among teaching staffs, non-teaching staffs and students about waste management.
- To reduce the waste generation and facilitate repair, reuse and recycling of waste in a cost-effective manner.
- To benchmark the campus using the green norms.
- Follow the 3 R's Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
- Provide appropriate training for faculty, non- teaching and students on waste management issue.
- Reducing to minimum utilization of natural resources.
- Provide clearly defined roles and responsibilities to identify and coordinate activity of waste management.
- Segregation of waste at source.
- Continuous review of the college's waste management policy on a regular basis.
- Promote environmental consciousness in order to encourage waste minimization, reuse and recycling.
